College Young Adults

There is spiritual life after youth group! At SSCC, our college-age young adults are a vital part of church life, and provide spiritual support for one another. Andy Torbert coordinates activities and programs that include:

College Connect - Church members volunteer to keep a one-on-one connection with one college student through e-mails, letters or cards, and small care packages. The purpose of the program is to let our college-age members know they are still important members of our congregation and to support them through this important life transition.

Semi-annual Retreats­ When our college age students are home on break (Christmas and summer) we host a camping retreat so they can reconnect with one another and with their faith family.
