Every Sunday evening during the school year, SSCC's youth group gathers for dinner, fellowship and faith-building. Adult volunteers and our young people meet at 5:00 PM for dinner, after which they divide up by age group for worship and fellowship.
Intersections - High School students experience a welcoming and safe environment where participants discuss important life issues and develop their faith as they grow closer to God and to each other. Through games, group building activities, singing, outreach activities and discussion, this group seeks to welcome all.
CrossRoads- Students in grades five through eight gather to experience a God who loves us for who are, not what we do. Games, music, talks, and service projects are a part of the weekly program.
Led by SSCC Youth Co-Directors Bryant and Katie Gibson, the youth group is also involved in many service projects through the year, serving as counselors in Christian camps, teaching in Vacation Bible School, and participating in an annual mission trip to Mexico.
Our young men and women also participate in the life of the church by serving as deacons, and by helping to lead Sunday morning worship.
