Vacation Bible School is held for a week in the summer, usually in July. More than 50 children learn about spiritual courage.
A past VBS was a trip to Crocodile Dock, "Where Fearless Kids Shine God's Light!" SSCC volunteer Stephanie Williams coordinated the week-long, half-day program, recruiting and supporting more than 25 volunteers.
Parents were especially complimentary of the quality of the volunteers from the SSCC youth group (more than 15 of them!), describing them as kind, gentle, fun and creative.
A parent from the Sandy Springs community told one of our parents, "I heard that your VBS was the best one in town!"
