ThirdAgers!!!  Let’s Celebrate Independence Day by attending the rousing Patriotic Celebration Concert at Roswell United Methodist Church, 814 Mimosa Boulevard. Following the concert, we will gather at Aldo’s Italian Restaurant in Sandy Springs, 6690 Roswell Road, for dinner together.
Who:  All ThirdAgers (all SSCC members and guests who have achieved the wonderful age of 50).
When:  Sunday, July 1, 3:00 PM.  Plan to arrive no later than 2:30. This gives you time to park (closer) and gather in the RUMC sanctuary before the concert begins at 3:00.  If you want to sit with certain individuals, make plans before you enter the sanctuary, as the ushers frown upon seat holding.
There is no cost for the concert but RUMC will pass the plate for free-will donations.
If you plan to attend, please enter your name on the sign-up sheet in the  ThirdAgers binder on the Connect Credenza in the Centrum, or call the church office, 404-256-2582 and ask to have your name added.  Please sign up at least a week before the concert, so that we can obtain a sufficient number of concert tickets (sometimes they run out) and let the restaurant know how many places to reserve. We will send you detailed directions and notify you of any changes in advance. If you have any questions, contact Shelton Blackburn at 770-977-2970 or
