ThirdAgers!!!  Yes, believe it or not, it is time to set our calendars to Celebrate Christmas!

What better way is there to put your energy in high gear as you prepare to celebrate the Christmas season, get into the spirit of joy and giving, and honor the birth of Jesus than by attending a grand and glorious concert at Roswell UMC? Following the concert, we will head to The Big Ketch Restaurant in Roswell for an early dinner together.
All ThirdAgers (all SSCC members and guests who have achieved the wonderful age of 50) are welcome to join us Sunday, December 9, 2:30 PM at Roswell United Methodist Church located at 814 Mimosa Boulevard in Roswell. You may arrive even earlier if you are picky about where you park and sit. This gives you time to park and find a seat in the sanctuary before the concert begins at 3:00. There is no cost for the concert but RUMC will pass the plate for donations.

After the concert we will meet for dinner at The Big Ketch, 1105 Canton Street, (a short distance from RUMC),  770-993-5749. Click here to see their menu:

Sign-up ASAP on the sign-up sheet in the ThirdAgers notebook on the Connect Board Credenza. Or, call the church office, 404-256-2582, and ask a volunteer or staff member to add your name to the sign-up sheet. Please sign up early so that we can (1) obtain a sufficient number of concert tickets, (2) tell the restaurant how many places to set, (3) send you detailed directions, and (4) notify you of any changes. If you have any questions, contact Shelton Blackburn at 770-977-2970 or
