The Vine Youth Group

Every Sunday evening during the school year, SSCC’s youth ages 6th grade through 12th, get together for games, dinner, fellowship and faith-building.  Adult volunteers and our youth gather at 4:00 pm and they are done by 6:30 pm.

The Vine strives to follow Jesus’ command in John 15:16 “I chose you and appointed you so that you might go and bear fruit—fruit that will last….

At SSCC, the youth do just this – bear fruit that will last.  From an annual Spring Break mission trip to Mexico to the friendships our youth make at Camp Christian each summer, they are leaving their mark and making a difference.  Our youth program is not limited to Sunday evening youth meetings, but it is a program that encourages youth to encounter God in the everyday and to meet and accept others where they are in their own faith journey.

We are expanding our annual Trunk or Treat to a community wide Harvest Festival! We’re planning to have everything from food trucks, bouncy houses, activities, and face painting!
This is going to be a great opportunity to show our community how open, accepting, and welcoming we are. That being said, we could use your help.
If you’re interested in volunteering please reach out to Breijanna Dyke directly at Thank you!
